Jillian presents Brendan with a photo from the Wicklow Way for Sharon Walk
A long overdue visit to the staff at Avis Van and Truck Rental finally occurred today. It was a great pleasure to present Brendan and his staff with a letter of gratitude from the Rice and O’Beirne families and a framed picture of the intrepid gang who undertook the Wicklow Way for Sharon in August 2008.
The group was pictured with the Avis van, donated by Avis for the week of the walk. It served everyone well, carrying the heavy overnight baggage, and driven by quartermaster par excellence, Graham Union.
Brendan assured Jillian that the photo would take pride of place in their office.
