I think I can speak for everyone who partook in the MS1 course when I say that it was a really enjoyable and worthwhile two days.. From the simple knowledge of what and how to effectively pack your bag to the ability of taking a bearing from a compass & locating your position on the National Grid.. there was enough in it to keep even the most enthusiastic walker entertained… (top of the class, Bobby!) We’ll just have to see if we can put all we learnt into practice on our next walk.. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has an interest in learning new skills and also enjoys hill walking.
